Operations Technician

Your mission

As our Operations Technician, you'll be at the heart of our operations team, using your hands-on skills to work with both mechanical and electrical components. You'll have the opportunity to ensure top-notch quality through product testing, successful factory acceptance tests and precise installations at customer sites.

Here are the key responsibilities:

  • Assemble products by following assembly instructions, gather parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.

  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.

  • Install software and verify specifications by measuring/calibrating completed components.

  • Ensure our products meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, cost and safety requirements, and be responsible for factory acceptance testing.

  • Pack and load our products for international transport according to the freight requirements to avoid any damage during transport. 

  • Keep internal equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions and repairs.

  • Install FieldScan or other large projects at the client sites and provide support, training and quality control, also creating installation reports.

  • Maintain a safe, clean and healthy work environment by following and complying with all health & safety policies, procedures and legislation.

Your profile

Education and Experience:

  • Secondary technical education (MBO) in electrical / mechanical / process engineering, automation technology or a related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience and technical expertise in a related field.

Technical & Soft Skills:
  • Strong customer focus, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to find creative solutions.

  • Strong verbal and written English.

  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time, sometimes at short notice.

  • A “Vakbekwaam Persoon NEN3140” certification and/or forklift license are advantageous but not a must.

  • Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system and computer networking would also be advantageous.
